The Cell Shock range traces its proud heritage to the world's leading centre for cellular revitalization, Clinique Lemana in Montreux, Switzerland.

 

About a decade after Professor Paul Niehans provided ground-breaking research on original fresh cellular therapy, Dr. Alfred Pfister developed a method to store cell extracts. This technique is called "Cellvital" and is exclusive to Clinique Lemana, which was founded by Dr. Pfister in 1952.

The advantage of the Cellvital technique, which allows the cellular material to retain its entire genetic activity for several months, is that it permits the performance of bacteriological and virological control tests.

This is a significant improvement over other cellular therapies, as it combines all the optimal safety conditions and complies with scientific criteria applicable to all parenteral therapies.

The Original Cell Shock
In the 1960's, a major break through occurred in the medical field when European scientists were able to develop a topical skin preparation containing extracts of cells with their metabolism still active. This skin preparation proved to have a remarkable effect on burns and poorly healing wounds.

The proven benefits of cell extracts to the skin inspired dermatologists at Clinique Lemana to
further develop the initial formula, to be used for advanced skin care products.

Until 1995, the "Cellvital" skin preparations were offered exclusively to the patients at the clinic, but through an agreement in 1996, a limited number of skin preparations containing the patented "Cellvital" were offered exclusively to Swiss Line. Utilizing "Cellvital", Swiss Line developed the Cell Shock product line.

The original Cell Shock range was formulated by blending Clinique Lemana's "Cellvital" active stabilized cellular extract with a new biological ingredient complex called Pentacare-Na, which is made from plant polysaccharides and hydrolyzed proteins.

This line of products has been proven to visibly lift / firm the skin more than 20% in less than 30 minutes. The lifting effect is authentic and measured with a cutometer.

The ingredient complex used for Cell Shock containing active Cellular extract was called Cellactel.
